Noelene Callaghan

Noelene Callaghan is a secondary teacher from Sydney, Australia. With over 12 years experience in teaching technology, she is leading the integration of using innovative and emerging technologies in the classroom. Recognised as a Microsoft Innovative Educator in 2015 for her work with Minecraft and Office 365, Noelene was selected to attend the E2 conference in Seattle, USA where she lead numerous panels in discussing the educational benefits of Minecraft. She is also recognised as a Global Minecraft Mentor and provides substantial teacher professional development on Minecraft and other ICTs to teachers globally. This is further supported by her recent research paper “Investigating the role of Minecraft in educational learning environments” which was published by Educational Media International.
