Electronics in cross-curricular learning

Electronics in cross-curricular learning
The new Digital Technology curriculum embraced a range of learning from computational thinking, to media, and information science. An often-neglected area is electronics. This session will introduce you a means of integrating electronics theory and practice, using free online digital tools, and practical and simple tasks, using inexpensive materials. This hands-on workshop will introduce you to, and get you participating in activities usable by students, providing guidance on their use in your classroom. They do not require an advanced technical knowledge, just a passion for learning alongside your students at any level from primary to secondary. These activities can be linked to a number of curriculum areas, including technology, science, or the arts (including soft-materials, and performing arts).
